“Training with Ronda has transformed my teaching. Ronda is fun, skillful, demanding, passionate, and inspiring. Ronda is an expert teacher of all levels – from the tiniest Twinkler, to beyond book 10 students, to adult teacher trainers. Ronda is continually coming up with new ideas and encouraging me to also keep growing as a teacher.” –Keri Tomenko

"Teacher training with Ronda Cole is a precise experience with no stone left unturned. I gained specific and effective ways to set-up beginning students and always had my questions about specific developmental and emotional needs met from her years of experience and keen intelligence about the inner workings of children.
Another aspect that makes Ronda's training unique and special is the high level she envisions for children and their musical expression and potential. She not only teaches the violin but also teaches music. The ideas and protocol I gained from Ronda have opened many doors for my students. I teach the children of many string players and am constantly receiving feedback about how impressed they are with the expectations and details to musicality that I teach. I credit this to my training with Ronda.

“I have been a Suzuki violin teacher for over ten years, and I will say that Ronda and David have had the greatest influence on my professional life to date. They have received an extraordinary amount of Suzuki training, providing them the proficiency to be passionate pedagogues. In addition to being expert violinists, they also have exceptional communication skills, allowing them to organize information in logical ways. David has taught me complicated concepts by breaking them down into small steps and by demonstrating them. Ronda has the flexibility to accomplish our goals through the most effective learning channel—sometimes, for example, I need specific verbal instructions, while other times it is more helpful for me to experiment on the instrument. Both teachers maintain higher standards than any other teacher I know. I believe this comes from the respect that David and Ronda have for their students; I have never heard them talk down to any student, whether teaching a Juilliard hopeful or a three-year-old beginner.” –Jen Kovarovic, Suzuki Violin Teacher
I was fortunate to have had an excellent musical foundation in one of the first Suzuki violin schools in the UK during the 1970s. This served to bolster me when my family moved abroad, where there were unfortunately few Suzuki-trained teachers. I endured years of traditional, and in retrospect, less mindful violin training, punctuated with a few Suzuki Institutes. It was quite evident that every time I was coached by a Suzuki-trained teacher, I grew greatly. My home violin teacher would be shocked. Eventually, my college violin professor told me I needed to ‘make a decision’. While I made a non-musical career choice (that I sometimes regret) when my spouse and I started our family, it was a given that the children would be given a gift of music. It was to be a Suzuki school or nothing.” –Maybelle, Suzuki Graduate and Suzuki Parent
